My role: Team Leader and Mentor

Sagrado Mercadito

Her passion for local consumption and her hunger to start her own business led Natalia, a graphic designer to generate a space where the community's talents could be made tangible and commercialized: Sagrado Mercadito. Now she wanted to find new ways to reach more people with her platform and diversify her offering.

My team and I tackled this project in a mentorship program designed to take an entrepreneur by the hand and lead them into innovation for them to be able to know their clients, imagine growth paths and articulate goals and tasks for the future. Together with Natalia, we conducted interviews, came up with future scenarios and drew a route for implementation.

Along with our mentoree, we established a growth model for Sagrado Mercadito in which we defined two main actionable areas. On the one hand, it was to become an actual launching platform for new design and food projects from the community; and on the other, a festival of local consumption that celebrates heritage and reinvents the conventional.

Imagining new ventures and growth paths for a shared economy organization looking to transform the local design and food industry landscape.
